Head Chef Amber Doig will be serving up some delicious Mexican dishes, whilst our bar team will be shaking some stunning margarita’s to wash it all down! It’s the perfect way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo in Sydney.

It's Cinco De Mayo, which calls for a celebration!

Cinco De Mayo commemorates The Battle of Puebla, the victory symbolised the Mexican’s strength and grew the resistance movement. It is a day of celebration in Mexico, particularly in Puebla, but is particularly huge in the United States, with colourful clothing worn, traditional food, flowing drinks, and non-stop action!

The Butler has been celebrating Cinco De Mayo for a number of years now, with our Head Chef Amber Doig being particularly passionate about creating authentic Mexican dishes to celebrate. In 2021 we celebrated Cinco De Mayo with Tacos Al Pastor and last year Amber served delicious street food including Tostadas and Guacamole. This year she is serving up a number of delicious dishes including 3 unique tacos!

Head Chef Amber Doig has created a number of authentic specials, alongside agave-focused cocktails.

Enjoy a buffalo mozzarella tostada to start, followed by mouthwatering tacos; choose from chicken, adobo skirt steak, or lamb barbacoa, and enjoy this alongside Amber’s famous Chef’s Guacamole. Plus sip it all down with a refreshing margie, our Bar team will be shaking classic, spicy, and seasonal Tommy’s margaritas all night long!
