The Body Shop‘s Empowering Breakfast Event at The Butler

On Wednesday the 13th of November, we hosted The Body Shop for an inspiring morning surrounding equality as part of their #ImDreamingOf campaign.

The Body Shop is a global beauty brand whose mission to be the most ethical and sustainable global business. To fulfil this vision they search the world for the finest ethically-sourced ingredients to create a range of naturally-inspired beauty products.

Our Applejack Hospitality family shares this strong passion for sustainability so we’re very proud to have hosted The Body Shop for their event. Everything from the event was sustainably sourced & single-use plastic free. The Butler aligns with like-minded suppliers who are assisting us in our goal to run a sustainable restaurant. We have eliminated single use plastics in our kitchen and bar, and are proudly plastic straw free.

From the breakfast grazing station, all herb garnishes are sourced from the Wayside Chapel and Urban Greens Sydney, and the Ora King Salmon is sustainably sourced from New Zealand.

The Event 

Over a delicious Butler breakfast, The Body Shop shared to Sydney media about how they are putting equality back on the agenda these holidays.

The event was hosted by Michelle & Zara, the dynamic duo behind Shameless– the podcast for ‘smart women who love dumb stuff’. The duo talked all things equality with The Body Shop’s inspiring panel of speakers, Em Rusciano, Ali Brigginshaw, Flexmami, & Plan International Australia ambassador, Jan Fran.
