The Butler Feast For Our Friends
The Butler Potts Point is reopening with an Ibero-American banquet by Head Chef Amber Doig, with all food sales going to the team.
On Monday 6th of July, The Butler Potts Point will reopen its doors with a tribute to Applejack Hospitality employees who have done it tough over the past few months.
Guests are invited to dine on our popular banquet menu, which will be ‘on-the-house’ for one night only! That’s right, we are giving away the food for free (excludes drink sales), and all we ask is that you contribute a ‘food tip’ that will go directly to our employees who have been patiently waiting to get back to work after the business went into hibernation due to Covid-19. There’s no hidden catch, no clause, you choose what you pay!
As the hospitality industry was forced to shut their doors back in March, employment rates plummeted and unfortunately, many of our employees were affected and not eligible for government support. In addition to getting our wonderful customers and staff back into our tropical oasis, adoring our famous Sydney city skyline view, we’re hoping your ‘Feast Tips’ will help revive the livelihood of our team so we can continue to deliver exceptional experiences for you.
The Butler’s ‘Feast Tips’ will be part of Applejack’s group-wide ‘Food Sales For Staff’ initiative, with all monetary contributions pooled and shared equally, going directly to all returning Applejack employees that lost their income and weren’t eligible for the government’s JobKeeper Payment scheme.
We’re so grateful for the incredible Potts Point community who have sent us messages of support over the past few months, and we hope to see you on opening night to support our people.
If you can’t make it on the 6th of July, our full dining menu will be available from Tuesday 7th of July. The menu will have some seasonal changes and focus on the authentic Latin flavours that we know you love, and the cocktails will be as delightful as you remember! Bookings are now open – we can’t wait to see you soon.
